A DAY WITH OUR OLDEST PRINCESS

THE ZOO TRIP

One thing I have learned for sure about my little Rosie is that NOTHING intimidates or scares her.  She is NOT SCARED of anything.  Feeding the "raffie" was no. big. deal.  ... most (like 90%) of the kids there had to have their momma holding them and they still cried.  Um...  what amateurs...  Rose can do it all. by. herself.

Look at the length of that tongue...????  and she did not flinch a muscle.

What a great day we had giving our undivided attention to this precious, sweet, energetic, full of life, tender hearted, loving little girl!  And a special thanks to Phyl and Granddaddy for taking care of Maryn and Mills for our Saturday adventure!!!

LITTLE SISTER PROBLEMS....

GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS

Lately, Rose has become extremely independent with her little sisters.  She suddenly has no qualms about trying to pick them up, change their diapers, put on their clothes, or feed them a bottle.  It is very sweet that she loves taking care of them so much but....  I have to be extremely careful with her around them now.  So, the other night while I was cooking supper I noticed that "things" were really quiet around the house.  I started to investigate.  What I found was Rose all dressed up in her princess dresses and both babies stripped down to their diapers.  She had bows and tiaras on them, but was being unsuccessful in her attempt to get those tutus on.  I did my best to explain that the twins were too little to play dress up and watch the I-pad in her tent.  After a minor melt-down, I finally thought to myself "what could it hurt honestly?"  So I helped her dress them up and get them arranged among the baby dolls in the tent (a.k.a. princess playhouse).  Surprisingly, the twins did not seem to mind one bit.  They never uttered a peep.  (not even with Rose trying to dress them herself).  It is so amazing to me how they just let her toss them around like little bean bags.  She thought it was the best princess play-doh video watching party in the entire world.  And, to be honest, it kept all three girls happy and occupied while Mark mowed the yard and I cooked supper and straightened up the house.  It actually worked out quite nicely! She is going to be such a great big sister!!!!

5 MONTH PICS

NOT INFANTS ANYMORE ...

They look so grown up in the 5 month pictures.  The 6 month stats will be coming soon... I cant believe my babies are already 6 months old.  So proud of how strong they are and how much they have grown, but so sad at how fast time is fleeting....  They are so precious to me

EASTER 2015

I HAVE OFFICIALLY COMPLICATED THE STORY OF JESUS TOO MUCH FOR A 3 YEAR OLD TO UNDERSTAND!

Rose is extremely confused on this whole "JESUS" thing.  I have tried to explain it to her but from a 3yr old's perspective, I can totally understand the confusion.  I think its partly because I just felt like we succeeded in explaining Christmas as the "Birthday" , and now she thinks the baby died and came back to life.  I'm giving myself props that (1) she even remembers the story about the baby Jesus from Christmas (2) that she understands that they are the same person and (3) that 'both' Jesus's are "wapped in cwofs"....???
Oh Well... "A" for effort right???
