TRADITIONS

Having Easter ducks has been a life-long tradition at our house, even when there were no kids to play with them. My dad bought them every year growing up to raise and feed and then turn loose in the Bayou.  We have had some crazy stories about the birds my dad buys.  One year the alligator ate them.  Last year Samuel's dog attacked them and they flew away to never-never land.  Another year he ordered Turkeys and they arrived while he was out of town.  Apparently they got out of the box at the post office and the city called my mom at like 4am for us to report to the post office and catch all the baby turkeys (running between packages and pooping on mail)....  But how much fun are DUCKS???  Rose was in HEAVEN.  Between Poppy's ducks and Phyl's rabbits this girl thinks she's got the world by the tail!

ITS A HARD NOT LIFE FOR US

Yep... she did it ....  Rose crossed another bridge.  Another right-of-passage to check off her bucket list.  Mrs. Hannigan Momma was not in a happy place.  The only upside is that at least this happened in the "old" house and not in the new one.  At least she learned her lesson the hard way on a wall that mom is not that attached to.  So if you hear of a little girl all dressed up and scrubbing toilets - she lives at 403 E Percy Street !
