TWINS CHRISTENING

CHECK THAT OFF THE LIST.....

The twins did fantastic at their Baptism.  I mean, I honestly could not have asked for them to do any better.  Mills was in Heaven with all the attention and new scenery.  She sat in my lap and smiled at the congregation the entire sermon.  Maryn, on the other hand, absolutely hated her dress and bonnet (that poor Phyl has been relentlessly working on for a week), but she did at least quiet down for the ceremony.  She had already had her major melt-down before we ever left the house.  Needless to say, the girls did not wear their bonnets (or their shoes).  This was a prime example of the polar opposite personalities of my baby girls.  Maryn did not like to be rushed or in the spot-light - Mills, however, loved all the new faces and all of the attention!  Surprisingly, Rose was also well-behaved at the alter (except for blowing her nose on Mills' dress-skirt.... lovely Rose, just lovely).  ALL of the close family was there and that made it all the more special for us.  It makes me just want to cry thinking of all the love and support we have surrounding us and how much my girls are loved by so many people.  We are truly blessed....

So....  hindsight is 20/20...  but I had gotten a new curling "wand" the day before... (Its supposed to be the new thing....)  I dont think I did a very good job creating Magic on my hair with my magic "wand"....  My hair looks like a rat slept in it ...  in. every. single. picture.  I will be practicing up before I go back in public with compliments of the "wand".....  eeekkkkkk......
